Can anyone recommend an aftermarket set of earphones WITH a mic?

I'm looking for something relatively lightweight that I can use for talking on the phone as well as listening to music while I workout at the gym. I don't need fancy buttons or volume controls since it will only bounce around like crazy while I run. I don't need amazing sound quality, but something average would be nice. Lastly I'm looking for something less <$50 since I tend to misplace things my earbuds often. :p

Right now I'm using my old set from my blackberry, but the earbuds never really fit my ears well and always pop out from my ears when running. I've tried my older set from an iphone, and they feel and sound horrible. Any suggestions?

I bought a pair from Best Buy from iFrogz. LOVE THEM! Good sound quality, the microphone is like the iPhone's. You can click it to pause music or answer a call. You can also use it to resume your music or end a call. They were only 20 bucks.

I got the black with red accents to match the phone. OCD I know.

I also have a problem with ear "buds" staying in my ears.. I have found the little black spongy covers that come with the iPod earphones do wonders for keeping the earphones in my ears while running at the gym... I think the Apple store will give you some for free if you have one near by.

Hope this helps!

So when your looking for earbuds, you should always check the frequency response. The lower and greater range, the better.
I've found that JVC marshmellow Barbuda offer a range of 8 to over 20,000. Which means it can really pump out the lows and highs. A major plus is that they're only $20.
As far as not staying in your ear, they are really squishy and come with two different size buds.
I highly recommend them.

Ed: Sorry, I just saw that you wanted one with a mic. I can't help you there.

The iFrogz that I have stay in really nice. They come with three different sized rubber buds.

I like these jbuds. They are great quality and sound great and have gotten great reviews from most including me. I believe you can get them from amazon too

These are the ones that I use. Go to best buy in the head phone section after you purchase these from amazon and look for the replacement buds by sony. I always had problems getting the stock rubber buys to stay in my ear. Replaced the rubber buds with the sony ones (they come in a pack of five sizes) and haven't had one issue with them staying in. I mountain biked down pikes peak a few weeks ago these in, no problems.

Edit: forgot to post link, haha. Premium Blackberry OEM Original 3.5mm Stereo Headset HDW-15766-005 for RIM BlackBerry 8900 Curve, Storm 9530, Pearl Flip 8220, 8300 Curve Cell Phone:Amazon:Electronics

LOL... 8 Hz, huh? Riiiiigggghhhhht.

I've got a pair of $500 headphones... guess what they do. 16 Hz to 22k.

I'm sure JVC was honest in their graph. *cough*cough*

Range is important, but doesn't tell you crap about how something will sound and you cannot use it to judge how headphones sound.

Don't buy into that crap. Same thing with THD. ;)

That's exactly what I was looking for! I didn't want any sort of rigid "sport" around the head earphones. I was actually poking around amazon and then also saw these:

Amazon.com: Sennheiser MM50 iP Earbud Headset (iPhone Compatible): Electronics

My current set of gym earbuds are Sennheiser CX-300 and they're practically indestructible! I've had them for years and they've gone through the wash more times than I can count on one hand. They been yanked from my ears, crumpled up and thrown in a bag, knocked around, and they're still ticking! Mainly, they also seem to fit my ears even better than some more expensive buds I use outside the gym.

Reviews on Amazon don't look too good though for them. Jbuds has better reviews but they seem to be aimed at the "bass-ophiles", not really my thing.
