Yes that is what I am saying.... I believe it will be corrected whenever it gets Gingerbread, because it is already being discussed in both the Sprint and Motorola users forums.

This is just a guess, but this phone was designed for business users, where email and security are the important things. Texting and Media aren't supposed to be a priority and may have been overlooked.... Or as this is my first Motorola Android phone, it may be a motoblur thing, I'm not sure.

Either way it is a known issue and I am sure they are going to correct it.

This sounds like misinformation. All my texts vibrate unless in silent mode. If you go to settings within the messaging app, the option for vibrate is in the same area where you pick your text messaging tone.

Awesome!... I surly don't mind standing corrected on this. They are going to kick themselves over at Sprint.com when I tell them... LOL

Isn't that the same as any Android phone? I'm happy to hear that... that would be a ridiculously huge oversight.

I think so. I wish Android phones had the many profile choices that BlackBerry does. Vibrate, Phone Only, Normal, Quiet, Meeting....etc.

There are apps that can do this, but it's much better to have this functionality baked in.
