I am currently on iOS and looking to jump to Android in the next week or so. The main reason is that I was told by other Android users that you can customize Bluetooth profiles in Android to do phone audio only (or media only or both), which you can't do in iOS. However, I stopped in a Verizon today and connected my Bluetooth to the S7 Edge that was on display then made a call to my personal cell phone. While still using the phone function, I connected to maps and entered a route and the audio from the map came over Bluetooth, even though I was on the phone. This is what happens with my iPhone (even if I turn off voice over bluetooth in the map settings)...as soon as I make a call, all audio starts going through my bluetooth.
Another user on here showed me a screen grab of their Nexus 6P and it, indeed, shows the ability to individually select phone and/or media audio. I've attached a pic I took of the S7 Edge and it doesn't give that option. It only shows "Call Audio" as the option when my Bluetooth was connected, even though the map audio came through the Bluetooth when on the phone (but through the phone when I wasn't making a call).
So, anyway, long explanation, but can the S7/Edge do the same thing as the 6P in allowing you to select phone and/or media audio only for a specific Bluetooth device?
