Can Google boost screen brightness via software?

Here's what brightness is set at when I'm at my desk. Definitely not 1% lol

By the way if you set the brightness by telling Google Assistant to go 50% it is not relational to setting the slider half way.

I think the verbal setting is more relational or at least it was on the 3XL. You can try to see if it's a different position. On Pixels it was changed during on of the updates. Not sure if it's still different.

I don't use the verbal settings. I use the adaptive brightness but yea it's generally around 70% when I'm at my desk unless I pull the shades

I rarely change my settings and I am usually on auto. I just pointed it out because when Google made the slider change it confused people

That phone probably had brightness set at 1%. Screen usage does not mean squat, without knowing the brightness setting. Or by just saying left in 'auto brightness". As sitting outside or sitting near a window, auto brightness increases dramatically. If someone sitting inside away from lights, it obviously goes down and uses less battery.

Here ya go he's another day with 5 hours on screen time. Today had 90hz forced. All the usage stats and the display brightness.
