So I use Nine for my email and have 6 different email accounts setup. I'm getting ready to do a factory reset of the phone as I have not done one since I got the marshmellow update.

Is there a backup program available that will let me backup my apps, texts (including MMS) and the settings for the apps? I've used AVAST in the past but it doesn't apparently backup the settings.

Go into settings and then apps. Search for lg back up ( you can find this under backup and restore) and also lg air drive. I've only found by searching. They both are back ups. Lg backup does to your phones memory card and lg air does to your computer. If you have issues wirelessly connecting, use the USb for lg drive and and lg bridge. There's a forum post on here about that as well. Hope this helps.

Lg backup came preloaded on my phone. But as previously mentioned, go to settings - backup, and you can get to it.

Ok found that one. Thought it was an app. Running now and looks like going to take a while. Does it copy everything including MMS messages?

When I used it it did copy all my text. I didint have any MMS at the time so I don't know.

Failed incomplete twice. Not sure why.
I have the same issue most of the times I've used LG Backup too. I just kept trying and it finally finished. I also found it did NOT save app settings for me. I really miss being able to use Titanium Backup!

Best to use LG Bridge. After downloading it to your computer, plug into your computer, click on backup and let it run.

Have now tried LG Bridge multiple times and can't get my phone to be recognized. Get USB device unrecognized error. Have loaded LG drivers and rebooted too.

I also downloaded LG Bridge and when I connect the phone to the computer via USB it doesn't recognize that it's connected. I want to do a backup in case I need to reset my phone after the MM update
