Since my wife got her Huawei smart watch she can only connect to her car Bluetooth or her watch but not both at the same time. Occasionally she can connect to her watch and media only in her car but not the phone function. Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Does her watch support a phone function? You can only be connected to one of that type of connection at a time. Although it would be a hassle she could change the configuration of the watch to turn off the Phone option while she's in the car, then turn it back on when she gets out.
If that solves the problem you could use something like Tasker to automatically handle that.

Thanks for your prompt reply, I think that is the problem. She has a Huawei Talkband B5 which does indeed have a (sort of) phone function. I'll have a looky at Tasker, thank you.

Or, if she just wants the watch for notifications and not talking through the watch, just disable it for that function. I have the original Huawei Watch, unless I set the watch to connect for phone voice calls it doesn't take that connection over.

In the watch settings (on the watch) go into connectivity then Bluetooth, disable the option to play phone audio through the watch. At least this is how it works on my watch..
