Can I connect to Wifi WHILE in Europe and use my phone?

Headed to Europe in August for a month. Just curious if I cut off the cellular/data network and just enable wifi if my wifi calling services will turn on? I was just hoping to check voicemails and/or receive calls. Just curious.

Personally I haven't tried it, but according to the TMO FAQ it should be possible.

I was in Europe last year and used the t-mobile wifi calling app while there. It worked out great, the only problem was that you can't send MMS messages. But we could call back to the states and send SMS messages with no trouble at all. Good luck.
