Can I control device volume through bluetooth?

A

AC Question

On my Blackberry Z30 when I listened to music on Bluetooth devices pressing the volume up button on my Z30 was equivalent to Pressing the volume up button on my Device (Bose Soundlink speaker). Now on my Blackberry Priv pressing the volume up button turns up the media volume on my phone, but will only go as loud as the devices highest set volume. to make the device louder I have to physically push the volume up button on the Device (Bose). I'm not sure if it is an android thing or I haven't found the right music app. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! I think that's an Android thing. Maxing out the volume on the phone doesn't max it out on the Bluetooth device--there's usually room to go even louder there.
