I have the LG G2, AT&T variant. I have disabled a whole slew of apps, mostly being the ones that start with "AT&T" in the names, but there are a few I was weary of disabling. They are below:

-Browser (the stock one, I solely use Chrome)
-Calendar (I downloaded Googles Calendar, it is similar, but I am just more familiar with it)
-City ID (wtf is this?)
-Featured Apps
-File Manager (The Stock one) I use a File Manager by the exact same name from the Play Store (one with a red icon) and I love it)
-Life Square
-Music (I use Play Music Solely)
-Notebook
-Picasa Uploader
-SmartShare Beam
-SmartShareProvider

There are other ones listed that I have disabled, but I knew wouldn't cause problems like live wallpapers and what not.
So are the above ones safe to disable?
Also are there any other ones you guys would recommend disabling, or just aren't needed.
You input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Funny, how different people are with their phones. I love live wallpapers, I have about ten I downloaded, I know they use juice, but I don't play games so this is my way of having some fun with the phone. . .

Actually I will use a live wallpaper on occasion (not a huge deal on this phone because my battery life has been great) I just don't like the 3 stock live wallpapers, so there is no need for them to be enabled.

pretty sure none of those will break the phone. the smartshare ones appear to allow u to send or play multimedia files to an lg smart tv. pretty sure i froze the stock browser but left the calendar untouched even tho I use a 3rd party app. I have almost all of the rest either frozen or uninstalled and haven't had any issues. if u search the xda g2 forums there's a good thread with information and experiences freezing or removing virtually every preloaded app.

I would say most of them, if not, all of them can be safely disabled because they're not system apps. I'm not sure about calendar or "featured apps" though

City ID is an annoying bloatware app that identifies the location of a caller. Totally useless. Disable with extreme prejudice.

Posted via Android Central App--please excuse the brevity and any typos!

I don't see city ID , but I see caller name ID. It was an app that started automatically and actually had a "free trial" which I immediately ended via the menu. Can I disable it, you think?
