Thought that might be the case , they closed up the bootloader

The different country versions of the ROM determine things like the language it comes in, whether it's set to work right to left (Arabic) or left to right (Latin or Cyrillic), etc. The radios are all the same.

But, if you flash Nougat and you don't root the phone, it's going to update to Oreo later anyway. So if you flash Nougat, root it, to prevent updating. (Flash Nougat first, then root. If you root Oreo, Nougat won't be rooted. It's the firmware that gets rooted.)

I wouldn't give that advice to root, if they do something wrong or flash something different it can damage or brick the device. If something goes wrong and they don't know how to go back stock . Root is for more experience people that know what and how to do it and how to get out of trouble if something goes bad. That's my opinion.
You are very experienced in root, IAM also .but most are not.

I will stay on Oreo, i mean im not satisfied with it but i dont want to brick my new phone. Also why isnt there offical option on phone to go back to previous software update, not everyone likes new features?

They never had a option to go back to earlier version , it would require to flash and they don't want people getting into trouble with that. But once you past a certain bootloader it's hard to go back .

Going back is easy, but the phone is going to update anyway. (If I go back to 4.4.2 in my Note 3, which was a 2014 update, it's still going to update to 5.0.1 in 2019. It always updates to the latest update. That's to always have the latest security patches.)
