So Iwant to get the thunderbolt if it ever does come out. If I do I will give my x to my mom or sister, if I do that I want it back to fullstock out of the box... I can never seem to fully wipe my phone.... Downloading a stock backup flashing that then unrooting seems like the best idea....

Flashing the maderstcok zip file from clockworkmod recovery would be the easier method between the two. Just remember to wipe data and cache before flashing the zip file and you should be good. Your device will even be unrooted by the process.

xliderider is correct but I thought maderstcok zip can be only flashed with RSD Lite, is there a new version that works from Clockwork Recovery?

But in response to OP, try download SBF from http://forum.androidcentral.com/mot...59759-official-full-sbf-2-3-34-available.html and install with RSD Lite...

Yes he made a version that is basically a clockwork flashable SBF, takes longer to flash than a normal backup and if you don't wipe data/cache you will brick your phone but other than that its awesome.

Actually, it won't be bricked. You just have to boot into stock recovery and wipe data and cache, then it will boot normally. It's much easier to wipe data and cache before flashing the maderstock.zip ;)

Where do I get that filter? Can I run it through rom manager?

Yea...Rom Manager or Bootstrap... both will put you into ClockworkMod recovery to flash the zip. I just used the Maderstcok zip a few weeks ago when I sold my DX. Worked perfect. Replaced all the Verizon apps that I deleted and even fixes the boot animation if you changed it. 100% back to Verizon factory stock conditions.
