Can I get back the version before the update?

I have a smart watch which works with an app and was working fine until the update just over a week ago and now the watch is rendered completely useless. I've contacted the app developer and the watch manufacturer but neither have responded and the app hasn't been further updated. Is there any way that I can get back to the version before the update?
