Can I get some help rooting my LG Tribute?

LG Tribute ROOT development

Since there doesn't seem to be any love for this device, I happen to own one and will try my best when I have time to gain root access.

I don't have much time on my hands, but I know a lot about root, and have plenty of phones. I am currently 16, I should have time but I am taking college classes and high school classes at the moment. I will find time on the weekends to find root for this device. Just letting you know my plans; however, would anyone point me to any files that would be any help? Anything will be appreciated. I spend a lot of time pulling all nighters, so some of my days are a drag. Messing around with this device sounds like a pleasure. I wont promise anything, school comes first; especially since I have a full high school schedule and college classes, it's hard to find time. I'll try though.

Any help would be appreciated as well, as I've only owned Apple and Samsung devices (current device is the iPhone 5, but at $39.99 it was easy to pick up the tribute for this very reason.) LG phones are the most confusing, just as much as the ZTE Flash from sprint. No promises; however, it doesn't mean I wont at least try.

Anything that would cause Linux to crash and come up rooted (or anything else that would give you root until the next reboot) would allow you to copy su to /system/bin. From there it's a piece of cake.

Not really. People who figure out how to root phones are people who dream Linux. If you can't at least write code, you're not going to find a bug in someone else's code, and that's how rooting is done - through bugs.

It isn't dumbed down, but if followed closely, it should work. Just make sure any virus/malware scanners are turned off while rooting, or some steps won't work.
