Boot Loop Issue after OTA Update

After my phone(Verizon, only 4 months old) updated last night, my phone worked normal all day today. Then about 2 hours ago, it rebooted and came back on saying optimizing app 1 out of 1. I let it go for a while like this, thinking it would correct itself, no dice. So, I cleared the cache, no good. I then tried to start it in safe mode, but I cant get it to start that way, so I did a factory reset. Noe the phone is optimizing apps, gets hung on 5 remaining or just continually restarts while it says its optimizing apps. Ive tried to find the solution on here, but I cant sort it out. Any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: So my phone finally got through optimizing apps, and now it just continually restarts and the setup wizard, could this be a battery issue after only 4 months?

Re: Boot Loop Issue after OTA Update

Not unless you've been draining the battery until the phone shuts off every cycle - that would give you a bad battery (but it still wouldn't cause the boot loop). Bring the phone to Verizon and ask them to please fix the problem their update caused. They're liable for it.

Re: Boot Loop Issue after OTA Update

try power off then press volume up,power and home button. Then after you reach recovery press the volume rocker until it highlights the factory reset option, press on your power button to confirm.it should be fine after that
