Help with factory reset

I'm trying to factory reset my tablet but when i hold down the volume button and power button all that happens is my tablet turns on like normal. Why wont my android tablet let me factory reset? I've tried like 20 times!!!

Going into recovery mode is different for all models. Yes, it usually involves the power button and volume buttons, but the method, again, is specific to the model.
Can you tell us which tablet you're using so we can help?

Remember that you can also initiate a factory reset from your Settings, you don't have to go into Recovery mode for this.

That makes it a bit harder since it's not a 'mainstream' tablet, but from what I've found pressing the volume UP button FIRST and then pressing the power button (and holding them together until your tablet boots up) should, in theory, boot into recovery mode. If not, try looking for a 'home' button or where that key would be and press that as well while booting up.

Furthermore, not all versions do this, but if you input the wrong password enough times I think the tablet will prompt a factory reset after a few failed attempts (again, not sure if yours does).

Yeah that's what I've been doing but I'll try to guess he password until it does that (hopefully mine does)

So i guessed it incorrectly 50 times and still, there's nothing

Does the Volume up + Power method not work? Have you tried Volume down?

I have a tagital 7 dual sim tablet. The screen is broken because somebody stepped on it by accident. I cant access my whatsapp because I'm still logged in to the broken tablet and I have a new phone. How can I hard reset this tablet? I have tried pressing the power button and the volume up and down separate times with the power button and nothing. Please help.

I have tagital android tablet with a pinky size volume button I am trying to reset and it is on screen with the list of option, but the pinky size volume button will not move the options what do I do
