Android Central Question

In my previous phone, a Samsung Galaxy 8, textra offered the option of only mobile numbers being available for texting. I got a new phone, a Galaxy S20 FE and don't seem to find that option. Does it exist and how can I locate it?

Which texting app are you using? Why not use Textra to get the features you're expecting?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear -- you want to make it so that contacts without mobile numbers don't show up in the messaging app when you search for contacts, correct?

I am using Textra on my S20+ and I still see the option for "Mobile Contacts Only". What version of Textra are you on (click the three button menu and then What's New?)

It exists in Textra, not in any other messaging app you may be using. (It actually may appear in other messaging apps, but that's not a normal "messaging" function, it's something Textra does.)
