Is there a way to pin music from the Google Music app to the SD card so it wont take space on my phone? thanks

Nope, and you most likely never will be able to.

Google in recent years is very much pushing cloud storage versus SD card. That's why their Nexus devices don't allow for external microSD cards to supplement the onboard storage capacity.

Google.com on your computer. Select play/my music then download any song you want to. You can only download a song twice I think

Yes there is, I remember watching a YouTube video on how to transfer music from Google music to SD. You need rootbox and it essentially re routes any music in that folder to the micro SD folder of your choice. Just Google how to do it any you should find a YouTube tutorial.

If you can download it to your computer, you can save it to the sd card. I have all my music saved in the sd card.

Yes! Thanks to a new update in the google music app. Open the app and go to Settings. There is an option for storage location and you can choose external SD. I just did this with mine and it automatically moved all my already pinned music to the external SD.
