I was using Pixel Icon Pack on my S8+ but wanted to keep the stock icons on the Note. Is there a way to remove the labels on the home screen icons? I really don't need to be reminded the icon with the camera is, well, the camera.

if you hold your finger on the icon for a few seconds it should give you the option to edit the icon and you can delete the label that way

Yeah, I have Nova Prime, but the motion wallpaper doesn't work with it. Can't have everything I guess.

I was able to edit Icons and App Symbols on my Galaxy Alpha 850 M but I just got S9 - and I can't seem to do it.

For example I had two Gmail Icons that went right to Desktop Gmail.
'Gmail Inbox' 'Gmail Sent Mail ' business

Then ANOTHER Icon for a Social Gmail Account.

So they had specific names under them .
Can't remember how I did it on Alpha but seems like there MUST be a way on Galaxy. S9 right ?

So there was an edit box where I could type in OR leave blank the name for the APP or ICON .

Samsung may have widgets and apps working differently. Have you tried to long-press the widgets icons to get the popup, and tap "edit"? If that doesn't work, you may also have to install a different launcher.
