Can I replace the sim card slot/reader?

Replacing the sim card slot/reader

I seem to have broken/bent pins in my sim card/slot reader (too upset with myself to explain). Any idea how difficult it is to replace? What it should cost? whether it is the same part as for the Moto G 1st gen?

If it is still under warranty I would send in for repair. I doubt it is an easy do-it-yourself repair. They are normally soldered on the main board.
