Can I root a carrier unlocked SM-G900A Galaxy S5 (AT&T)?

I bought an S5 and found later it was previously a VZW phone, gave up on that, came up on another S5 that rooted with no problem (someone stole it), now I have an unlocked AT&T S5, but it appears I'm in the same situation as with the Verizon phone.... I'm a straight noob, honestly, so any help would be appreciated....

I am afraid you are out of luck AFAIK with the AT&T model, G900A. See #1.6 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide
