OK, so with the nexus 5 coming out soon I was wondering if indeed it does support Verizon's network can I take my micro sim card out of my Verizon gs3 and put it in a unlocked nexus 5 if it supported Verizon and will it work?

I think thus should work but I need clarification so thanks for the help in advanced.

You'll still have to call Verizon and have it manually activated. That's assuming the next Nexus is made available on Verizon. If recent leaks are to be believed then its not likely to be released on Verizon, at least not initially.

If the nexus 5 does support and I buy the UNLOCKED version and never deactivate my gs3 I should be able to just put the micro sim card in the nexus 5 and be good right?

Nope, Verizon phones need to be activated by them first. It only takes a couple hours usually, but it's not like a gsm phone where the sim card works instantly

I just read online the my Verizon gs3 has gsm support too and has a micro sim card in it and the nexus 5 could support gsm and work on Verizon since my phone does .......right?
