I'm getting irritated having to use the home and volume button for screenshots. I do TONS of them daily for projects, research and work. I know there are settings to change this, and widgets to download. Just want advice and opinions on what works for you.

You can always enable the palm gesture (swipe your palm from edge to edge) or add a shortcut to the Edge Panel.

You could also setup a Bixby action and map the Bixby button to run the action, turning your bixby button into a screenshot button.

The best way is with the "Soft Key" edge panel.
This is what I use. Love it.

I use Smart Select from the edge panel. Smart Select is in my top 3 features of Galaxy devices

We have few different selections like everyone mentioned, and my brain always reverts to power and volume down automatically lol.

You can download and use the Softkey edge panel, or the palm swipe gesture to take a screenshot.

Also make sure you have smart screen capture enabled otherwise some options would be (un)available. I know from my own recent experience.

I always use the palm swipe as well. My fingers are short so the power and volume don't work for me. I never set up Bixby. It.killed battery life on my S8. Plus I never used Siri with iPhone so no need for it. The only time I speak to my phone is talk to text. It still hasn't learned KY city/country accent lol. My texts sound like I'm an illiterate dumbass
