Can I track my lost Nexus 7 tablet if the location settings are turned off?

I lost my Nexus 7 tablet and the location settings are turned off

I lost my table and i tried tracking it but the location settings were turned off. Anything i can do?

Are you using the Android Device Manager at all?

Welcome to Android Central! If your Location setting was turned completely off, then you won't be able to use Android Manager to track it at all. If someone found it and decided to turn Location back on, then maybe you could find it. But this would mean that person was able to get past your lockscreen--you did have a lockscreen set, right?)
