Question Can I transfer app data to another phone?

Hello,

I am using Xperia Keyboard, but today when I installed it on new phone, the server with languages is maybe down :-/ . Can I somehow transfer downloaded languages to new phone? I can't find any folder with Xperia keyboard folder in internal storage. Thank you in advance.

I am trying backup this app from Xperia 5 III with Android 12 to Xperia 5 II with Android 11 .

I tried ADB command

adb backup -apk com.sonyericsson.textinput.uxp -f backup.ab

but it only saved 1 kb file and restoring it did nothing.

So maybe languages from Xperia Keyboard is in another folder?

Any advice what can I do more to fix this issue? I wrote on Czech Sony support, so I hope, that is there any solution. Or maybe decompile .apk file and try to edit dictionary url to another? Dictionary files are usually .txt files were you can download from internet.

I'm afraid I won't have any good suggestion for you, but I think one of the main problems is that the Xperia Keyboard was dropped by Sony around 8-9 years ago, so it hasn't had any official support for a long time.

I know :-/ . So the only solution is decompile .apk and edit it or include dictionary manually. But I am not a programmer. Or can I somehow backup dictionary if these files is maybe in system folder? I couldn't find them in my spare phones.
