Can I turn off the conversation view on my emails on my Samsung Galaxy S^

All my emails are bunched together under one subject - how can I turn of that feature?

Re: Can I turn off the conversation view on my emails on my Samsung Galaxy S^

I have also been trying to turn off Conversation View, to no avail, for a few months since getting a Galaxy S6 Edge+. Problems occurs with both the native Gmail app and the Inbox app. I believe Inbox uses the settings from the native Gmail app, but unchecking the Conversation View option on the General Settings page does not actually make the change. My email servers are all gmail, and I have successfully turned off Conversation View when accessing over the web from my computer. Have tried other Android email apps, but they all seem to have bigger issues.

Hey folks ... It works for me ...

Not using a Gmail address
If you’re not using a Gmail address, follow these steps to see email replies individually. When you change this setting, it applies across all non-Gmail accounts on the app.

Open the Gmail app.
Touch Menu Menu.
Touch Settings.
Touch General settings.
Uncheck the box under "Conversation view."
Email responses won’t be grouped together.

Use the Samsung email app...

Posted via Android Central App

I feel like this should be simpler.

I've unchecked the box...

Confirmed it's unchecked.

Confirmed that it's not conversation view on desktop and saved changes.

Removed the mobile gmail account and reloaded it again.

I've unchecked the box mobile app gmail account conversation view checkbox...

Confirmed it's unchecked.

STILL CONVERSATIONS ARE GROUPED.

Please help!!!!
