Can I turn off the swipe to unlock?

I don't ever lock my phone and would like to be able to push power button and have phone ready to go from sleep mode! Is there a way to do this?

You're running Froyo on a Note 2??? I've heard of flashing a newer version of Android onto a phone, but I've never heard of going the other way.

I know it was probably a typo, but I just couldn't resist.
