Can I unlock my Droid Maxx and use it on Straight Talk?

I'm trying to add a verizon motorola droid maxx or mini to straight talk and i just wanted to know if you were ever able top send/receive photos?

OK well I've got the android Turbo 2 an I need to have the phone unlocked so I can change carriers is that possible

All Verizon phones since they started selling LTE connectivity are unlocked, so the Turbo 2 was never locked and you can always put another SIM in. That said, if you took the Marshmallow update, people are reporting having problems specifically when it is used on T-Mobile. See http://forums.androidcentral.com/mo...0-marshmallow-connection-issues-t-mobile.html

You may have more luck asking in that forum than is this one, for the 2013 Droid Maxx.

Can I unlock my Droid Maxx and use it on Straight Talk

I can't speak for the original maxx, but this is one of the posts I read on my quest to put my verizon Samsung galaxy s5 and my wife's droid maxx 2 on straight talk. So here's my story. I tried to get a "verizon" activation kit and they said that neither phone was compatable so the wouldn't mail me a sim. So I ordered an at&t compatable sim and stuck it in the phone, activated it, and put the phone in "global" mode, installed an apn I found at bestmvno.Com after searching for "straight talk 2016 apn" in google. I instantly had 4G lte at speeds around 63Mbps down and 30ish up, and I live in rural southwest oklahoma. This worked for both phones, the maxx 2 and the s5. I'm hoping this helps someone who is looking for this specific answer!

Net10 (straightalk subsidarary) sells 4g lte verizon sims . Alot easier than using tmobile sim. Didn't have to change any settings. Droid maxx (2013 one).
