Can I update AT&T GS6 to 5.1 using another carrier's software?

Anyone know whether I can upgrade my s/w to android 5.1 on my AT&T Galaxy S6 using another carrier's software? I've read that numerous other US and international carriers have already pushed their 5.1 updates so I was wondering if I could use Odin to upgrade instead of waiting for AT&T?? If it is possible, which carrier's version is compatible with my AT&T phone? thanks.

I seriously doubt it. There all coded for a specific carrier. If it cant find the code it needs to write, It won't push to the device. If you force it, you may brick.
