can I upgrade my htc sv one lte?

I recently purchased a HTC One SV LTE from amazon uk and have yet to do anything with it as it needs a micro sim, and I'll
wait till I can get one from my current network...

What I am wondering is if it's possible for me to upgrade the android software to the latest version and also if there is a
latest version of any htc overlay software that can be updated...and most importantly how?!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I read a post recently that the One SV is slated to get the 4.2.2 Android update along with Sense 5. It may take another month or two.
