I had great luck with BreakDroid. I advise using that on a Mac. Google it. Took me 3 minutes.

No that method is specific to the galaxy nexus.

You'll have to find the root method for the infuse 4g. Try rootzwiki or xda if you can't find it on Android Central forums.
