Android Central Question

I am going to ask a question for a rare situation.
If I have LTE connectivity on my galaxy watch and no network connectivity on my cellphone. In such a situation, can I use my galaxy watch as a hotspot to give connectivity to my cellphone?

a quick online search says you can use a watch as a hotspot. there are a lot of how to videos. one thing though, whether or not you can do it depends on your phone service provider and what you subscribe to.

Wow, this is actually possible?

I'm curious what the battery life is like with hotspot turned on. Probably not that great, I imagine. But this could still be a useful feature when you're caught with a laptop but without a phone.

most likely the battery life will be bad. not much to begin with. you can find some first hand info if you did your own search "smartwatch as hotspot" as keywords. one thing for sure, you better take your watch charger with you.
