My 2nd line is on 2gb tiered data plan. It currently has the S7 edge on DPP that's not paid off yet.

My primary line has unlimited data and is still under contract for a little while. Can I take that SIM card and put it in my S7 edge?

I think I must have gotten confused. I know that if my 2nd line was on a contract(from buying a phone on 2-year pricing), then I cannot put the unlimited data line's SIM card in it.. Does that apply if the 2nd line is on a regular DPP?

Thanks!

You'll be fine

as long as I'm asking.... what actually happens if I put the unlimited data line's SIM into a new 2-year subsidized phone from my other lines?(not DPP) Does the phone initiate an alarm or self-destruct mode or SIM card meltdown?

thanks!

and I won't lose my UDP? That's seem to be contrary to everything
that I've read so far.... :(
You would be fine so long as the phone wasn't bought from the upgrade from that unlimited data line

AFAIK, the only thing toxic is a phone bought using an unlimited line's upgrade. DPP is not upgrade pricing.

oh.. sorry.. I forgot to specify that one. Yes, the phone was purchased by transferring the UDP line's upgrade to the tiered data line.

does that trigger something in Verizon's system and automatically remove the UDP plan from that line?
