Can someone advise if I the Samsung-Galaxy-S20-FE-5G-128GB-8GB-RAM Middle east version would still be usable for 4G LTE in Canada and the US

You could probably use it in the US but I would stick with a version in your region . Like Att and Tmobile should connect but sprint or Verizon might be issue.

Different carriers rely upon different types of cellular networks so depending on the cellular radio chip that's inside each phone model, a phone may or may not be fully or partially compatible with some cellular services. There's just too much variance involved so generic references are just too vague. Phone models typically have several variances so with a Galaxy S20 Fan Edition it might be a SM-G780F or a SM-G781B?
