Can I use skype in Canada

I have a Virgin Samsung Galaxy "Ring" and am going to Canada. But Virgin US won't work there (even though it's carrier Sprint does) as Virgin has a Cdn version conflict.

I can call Canada from US but not while in Canada so I thought I could use skype. The Virgin support wasn't all that helpful but they thought a skype app "might work."

I've read all the instructions but wondered if anyone has used Samsung with skype.

Note: Writing on this page has a strange delay to each letter. Is that just me?

I would think you can since they have unlimited US / Canada.

You can definitely use Skype on wifi - from anywhere. The charge depends on where you're calling, not where you're calling from. If it's Skype-to-Skype, it's free.

Yes, that's what I thought, I used skype in Europe with no problems. I also got a Virgin guy who said I can put skype on my Samsung.

Just a note, my laptop (XP) takes a few beats to type out each letter. Don't have that problem on any other website.

Yes, you can. there is no problem as long as you access to the Wifi
