AC Question

Okay so basically I bought an international Nexus 5X and I live in Canada. The charger that came with it obviously wasn't one that I could use here but the seller I bought it off of on eBay provided me with an adapter to convert the (what I believe is an Australian plug) to a North American one.

I'm not really good with this stuff but just in case I'm gonna ask if I can use it or if I should just go buy a new one from Google.

If it's necessary, the Australian to US adapter says 10A 250V on it and the LG Nexus 5X Charger says
Input: 100-240V 0.5A
Output: 5.0V=3.0A

Welcome to Android Central!

What did you end up doing?

I got an internation model, too, from Europe. I bought an adapter that changes the two round prongs to two flat prongs and it works fine. I've also used old charging plugs I had around with a USB-A to USB-C cable and most of them work fine. A couple got too hot and I tossed them.
