Can I use this old Verizon HTC Rezound in England?

can i use this old verizon htc rezound in england?

I am here in England for 4.5 months. I called verizon and the man told me that all of their 4g phones are unlocked so I figured I'd be okay.

My giffgaff sim came in the post today and I can't seem to figure out how to get it to work. :/

anyone?

I was under the impression that the 4G would work, but not any others. So no 3G, no voice, etc..but I may be wrong.

Another possibility is the carrier that you chose may not use the same bands that the verizon phone does.

thanks. i changed some settings and then i put down my phone and it randomly worked!!

so, there's that. hopefully it stays this way and i won't have to worry about it.

You probably changed the APN settings. But if its working, great!
