Can my Samsung S3 SIM card be used in a Samsung Note 4?

My Samsung S3 is well worn and having difficulty charging. I need a new phone and I have been told the SIM card can be taken out and used in a new phone. Looks like the Samsung Note 4 has a micro SIM card like the S3?? Is it feasible to be able to do this? If so, would it matter if the note 4 was verizon compatible since that is my carrier?

Welcome to Android Central! As you mentioned, the both use the microSIM size, so the card should fit. If the S3 and the Note 4 are both from Verizon, then it should work. The Note 4 has to be compatible with the Verizon network--if it's a GSM-only phone, it won't work.
