Can no longer edit comments

From my Samsung G5, when I long press on my FB comment I wish to edit, the option pops up, but does not function. The cursor does not move, and I cannot even add anything at the beginning. The Delete option works, so I must delete the entire comment the re-type it to make any changes.

I have seen this many times on Facebook, different devices (phone, tablet). It's not a problem with your phone, it's a problem with the Facebook app. Unfortunately, FB feels the need to update their app a LOT, and often times breaks things along the way. You may be able to correct it by clearing the app's cache and trying again. If not, send feedback from within the app and just "ride it out" until they send the next update.

I am having the exact same problem.

I tried reinstalling the app but it didn't solve the problem.
