Can one deny/stop the 2.3 upgrade ?

Would I be able to stop 2.3, and stay with 2.2
or
is one forced to install 2.3 ?

Ya m8, this isn't webos... on ones forcing it on you. I think I remember a thread similar to this one and the user had did the download for the update but had second thoughts about doing.

You should really root your eVo, exactly since your still on 2.2. You wont regret it.

No, you don't even have to download it. I would and did, but haven't installed it yet. I moved and deleted apps to get some room

There is an update coming on june 20th. Just wait for that fix.

I haven't got any notification yet that the GB update is available. Although I don't intend to even look for it until I hear that the "fix" really fixed everything, I thought I would have gotten a notification by now.
Since I haven't done anything with it yet, I have a question. When the "fix" comes out on the 20th will it just replace the first GB update or will I need to download the update and "fix" as 2 different updates?

Don't think anyone knows just yet. I would think though that being released so soon after the 2.3 update that it would more of an update to the offical update. Hence it being called a "Maintenance Update". So most likely you'd have to have done the update and then this new update.

Wasn't there a small maintenance update after 2.2 came out. I think it was to fix the whole WiFi "n" thing... Again!!!! LoL
