Can S7 read calendar to silence phone during meetings like Moto Assist?

The title of the post pretty much says it all. I loved my Moto X and particularly the Moto Assist function that would automatically silence everything (or everything but priority notifications) whenever a "busy" appointment started on my Google calendar. After the scheduled meeting end time, it would re-enable all notifications. Can the S7 do this? If not, is there an app in the play store that does?

TIA --

I don't know of any way to do it natively, but I believe there are 3rd party apps that will do this. I know you can set up Tasker scripts to do this, but that's a more complicated process.

I've found that for me automated approaches don't work very well. I don't want to mute the phone for every event in my calendar, as not all of them are meetings. And triggering off of a keyword in the even doesn't work, because some of them are created by other people and I can't control the way they describe the event. So I ended up with this app:

When I go into a meeting, I pull down the notification shade and mute the phone. Shush then pops up and I can tell it how long I want it muted. After that time period, it automatically restores the prior volume settings.

I use Tasker to silent certain meetings. It's very customizable. I can set silence on certain types of calendars (work, personal, family group calendars, etc.) based on the Busy/Available status. It works better than the native settings on the Moto X. I could never get it to detect the settings on my Exchange calendar.

Tasker takes some time to understand how to set it up but it's highly customizable.

I use silence premium to mute and reactivate notifications on my S7 for calendar scheduled meetings; exchange & google cals. Also lets you set quiet time so nothing comes in when sleeping. Available in play store.
