Can send but cannot receive text messages

I have an LG Optimus L5 and am with Telus.
I have the Prepaid plan Unlimited Local Weekend Calling + Messaging 20
This means I have unlimited local weekend calling and unlimited picture and sms text messaging
My phone was working fine until recently...I have plenty of time on the account and am able to send messages but I cannot receive them?????

Are you using normal text messages or instant messages ? Eg what's app, viber or ICQ.

What have you tried to fix it ?
Id recommend switching off, take the battery out and switch on, also it might be network specific, so talk to your carrier/service provider and see what they say.
