Can somebody explain this mystery!

There might be a really obvious explanation so I apologise in advance!

My phone has been making notification sounds/vibrations once a day that when I look at the screen there is nothing there and nothing in the notifications pull down.

Then today i was using my phone when the same thing happened but I noticed a triangle in the corner of my screen with an exclamation mark inside which disappeared almost as quick. There is no indication why this is happening or what it is for.

Can anybody help me?

There is a known problem with the Facebook application having authorization problems that cause that pop up warning you described.

Happens to some, not to everyone.

When it does happen just long press on the notification and force close the application. That usually makes it go away.

If it is indeed Facebook, I've tried many of the suggested tricks to resolve it myself and it only happens once in a while. Annoying yes but not a deal breaker.

I get the triangle with an exclamation mark when I connect to the charger in my car. Is your notification coming on when the phone is being charged? Maybe a loose connection?

It's not being charged whilst this is happening.

I can't even select the notification because it is happening so quickly!
