AC Question

Recently I purchased a ZTE Grand Max+. model number Z987. It came from Ebay without a sim card and when I began looking for the place the sim card would eventually go I couldn't find it. That is because the phone does not open and there are 2 slots on the side of this device which are made to hold the sim card and the SD card. The little doors/slots are not easy to remove even with the little tool which is provided. But what is worse is it is almost impossible to get the sim card , which is placed in the little drawer made to hold it, to push back into the slot. In fact I was not successful at completing this part so I took it into a Cricket store where the clerk proceeded to jam it back into the slot. What gives with this and are there any 'tricks' to getting the sim and SD card to go back into their slots on the side of this phone and what happens when the battery wears out since the phone doesn't open?

Make sure the SD card is fully seated in the drawer - if it's not it'll jam inside and the drawer won't open. (And make sure it's the right size - it takes a microSIM.)

As for the battery, it can be replaced by a shop, but if you don't discharge it below 40%, you'll probably want to replace the phone before the battery goes bad.
