I REALLY want to flash nookie froyo, but after 100 failed attempts, I cannot get adb working. Therefore, I will not get Gapps or market. Can someone please help??

Thanks in advance.

this would make life so much easier... i had adb working, got Gapps on honeycomb through adb, and the next day it just wasnt working, i tried every method available to fix adb, and it just refuses to cooperate with me. flashable gapps would make my day, and would probably help move me from rooted stock, to nookie froyo. even though i AM very happy with rooted stock, i wouldnt mind having gapps with my froyo

I'm in the exact same boat. I would love to experiment with froyo and HC. Please, someone help!!

that would be nice. I have spent at least a week and countless hours trying to get adb to install, via cable, adbwireless, sideload wonder machine; nothing works. Need to get off the computer before my hands become part of the keyboard.

Ok gotta ask

I am having the same problems with ADB. I am on a rooted stock nook now and have set up sdcards for froyo and HC to boot from cards. I can get them to boot but cannot get the gapps on. I read the post about the wireless and would assume that would only work if you were flashing froyo/HC to the rom. Anybody have any suggestions on how to get the gapps on the sd card?

ADB or Adapter

Several options, the easiest of which is to take out the micro sd card, put it into a standard sd card adapter and push it into a computer that has a card reader, and simply place gapps on the sd card that way.

Another option, which I think should work for 99% of those out there, is to follow this link to get the correct drivers installed on your computer.

Thanks i will try that. It seems that the process would be simple to a degree. This will be the third download of drivers for this but i will try and keep trying. i will post an update

ok i put the file on the card and no deal is there a specific file i should put it under?

I down loaded the drivers installed and still cannot connect. When i prompt i get dameon on port 5037 but no devices listed. Everthing seems to be listed under a mass storage device. I have storage device turned off and usb debugging turned on.
