Just being nitpicky, I use texting a lot for my job and I can't stand the HTC texting app and I don't like additional apps.

Maybe some one else will, but I will not... too much personal info... and too much time on a photo editing software to blur my information, and I'd have to be rooted. But it's pretty much the same as what you see on HTC (I had a Thunderbolt)... it's why I use Go SMS Pro.

I'm not gonna post a picture, but I will say, I came from an Incredible and absolutely despised their messaging app and immediately switched to Handcent. I've had the MAXX for a couple days now and I feel no need to switch apps now.

++. I've used Handcent on my DINC and now on the Maxx and it does everything that I need for text messaging. It's got an add-on black background theme that looks great on the Maxx screen.

Yeah by the time we edit out anything personal you wouldn't get the feel for what it looks like.

I say it kinda looks like the tbolt messaging app. Except tbolt messaging app is better IMO
