Can someone recommend a good and easy password backup app.

I'm using Enpass. It has extensions for Chrome and Firefox on desktop (desktop version is free), and the Android license is $10 (one time payment for all Android devices-no annual subscription).

The benefit is having a different / crazy password for all your accounts (due to a PW generator within the tool). This way you aren't using the same passwords over and over. I have about 25-30 accounts in there right now.

And even if you refuse to trust it with your Super Important Passwords, such as your Bank Accounts or Primary Email Account, having a password manager removes all temptation to use duplicate passwords on J. Random's Web Forums of Vague and Dubious Security, should you decide you need to sign up. And if J Random's site gets hacked because they stored the passwords in plaintext written on a small dog, you know its password was unique, so you don't have to wonder if you need to change your password for other sites if J. Random eventually gets around to telling you that their dog was stolen.

I struggled with this a bit and decided that having a complex bank account password stored in a relatively safe place was superior to having a simple one I could remember or a complex one stored in a relatively unsafe place (liked my wallet). I figure: a pin to access my phone (which is stored only in my mind), a different pin to access my password manager on the phone (which again is stored only in my mind), encrypted contents in the password manager, never backing my password manager up to the cloud, my device storage itself encrypted, and Google Device Manager activated so I can hopefully remote-wipe my phone if it's stolen - all brings my risk down to an acceptable level.

Last pass here. Been using it for the last 2 years and other than one or two issues, absolutely love it. Love it even more so with fingerprint capabilities.

Will these work with IE or only Firefox and chrome?

Also when setting these up will it pull all your passwords from all sites you use them with, or do you have to put in each one yourself during the setup?

Tried Avast and didn't see a key symbol on IE, but did for Firefox.

I actually use two programs and like both:
On my android phones I use b-folder. I have this synced with my other phones, tablets and laptops at home.
On my daughter's device I buy for them the one password, very similar to bfolder above (but because b-folder would not work for MAC and iphones).
Highly recommended!

Been messing with Dashlane. Does not work with the Edge browser in new Yoga 900 laptop. Defaults to IE
