Can TAB S2 NOOK change its ROM to official Samsung or third party‘s roms?

Can NOOK TAB S2 install a pure rom by Samsung or third party‘s roms？
Has anyone tried？~~~~(>_<)~~~~

Theoretically yes. There are no hardware differences between the Nook version and the non-Nook version.

I'm tempted to do it as well, but I like the Nook integration (the reason I got the Nook version).
