Welcome to Android Central! If no new updates are available on Settings>About Tablet>System Updates, then there is no official update. If you're willing to root the device, you can search for "ME173x root ROM."

Hi there,

I've been searching the internet for the same thing. I did the About tablet - System Update and it says that the system is up to date. I'm running 4.2.1 I feel like the tablet is SO slowwwwww and needs to be updated. I was thinking it's because the OS is outdated but I guess not.

If you figure out anything please let me know.
