They never untended for you to go into the S6 anS7. They are glued shut but people have successfully opened them and replaced the battery. They claim they are sealed to make them waterproof but it is just as likely that the battery won't last much past when you can upgrade and they can sell you a new phone. There are Youtube videos on how to open the phone but if not done carefully there can be damage. I guess phone repair shops do it. If the battery is dead you can risk it, have it done or get a new phone but you have to do something. That is why I am keeping my S5. I just changed the battery in an S4 in about a minute. The S5 is just as quick. The S6 battery is readily available.Are you able to purchase a new battery for the Samsung S6 when it has gone bad?
