Yeah, power wise, there's a lot of stuff that could run games much better than the PS3. The problem is that to run a PS3 game on anything other than a PS3 you need an emulator, essentially software that pretends to be a PS3 that runs on some other type of computer. That is 1. Really pretty challenging to program, and 2. Extremely resource intensive once you build the emulator. So although the computer itself is vastly more powerful, it doesn't necessarily translate into the emulator, assuming one exists.
